Truth is, Joe Bowman was only married once (from 1955-1968), to Betty Moore Bowman, the model, local Houston TV star and the North American & United States National Champion in Fast Draw Shooting Competition. Under Joe’s tutelage, Betty Bowman became the North American and US National Women’s Fast Draw Champion and was the featured subject on the 1960’s television show, “To Tell The Truth” in 1962… Here is an article from the Houston Post newspaper back in 1962 profiling the unique couple….
